I love being pregnant (every time I say that I think of Whoopi Goldberg's stand up routine, "Like Mary was with Jesus 'cept I know who the father is," remember that?, but the headaches, my goodness. I've suffered from headaches and/or migranes for as long as I can remember, but usually I can take something for the pain. All the medicines that are safe for pregnant women do not work for me. Of course, the epidural didn't work when I had my first child so no one's really surprised. Being cooped up in the house because of this crazy weather (snow showers one night, thunder and lighting the next!) doesn't help. When is spring start again?

Is anyone else as offended by this cold weather as I am? I hate walking outside and getting attacked by cold air, and they are talking about a possible snow storm this weekend. That's one of the worse things about living here, you just never know what the weather will be like day to day, and winter could last well into March. Jeez, get me out of here.
We are considering a move back to a warmer climate, but that leaves a new dilemma. I'm searching for a job, but what's the point if we will be moving soon. But I need the money. I hate going to temp agencies simply because your hours can vary so greatly and that's a problem with child care for me and you can be sent anywhere in the city. Must factor in at least 1/2 hour or more for travel time. But do I want to be traveling unknown distances every day? This is all second to the fact that even temp agencies don't have a lot of work available right now. I have a friend who owns an agency and she said I should definitely go and sign up, but don't expect to be sent out on a job anytime soon. The work just isn't there. No work is one darn good argument for a regime change, doncha think?

Haven't done one of these in awhile.
I stole this one from her.

What is the middle name of the first person you ever slept with?
Lee

What kind of underwear are you wearing and what color?
None, so I guess that makes them brown

What is the song you want played at your funeral?
Summertime by DJ Jazzy Jeff/Fresh Prince. I want to die in the summer so there will be a picnic in lieu of a funeral.

What would your last meal be before getting executed?
B-B-Que Chicken Pizza and Vanilla Coke

Beatles or Stones?
The Beatles

If you had to pick one person on earth who should die, who would it be?
Not really my place to choose.

The person whose problems you would never want to hear again?
Either of my kids because I don't want them to have any problems.

What is the thing most important to you (as far as physical) about the preferred sex?
I love my hubby's arms and shoulders. He's my preferred sex.

If you could have any super power what would it be?
I'd like to fly and stop paying ridiculous fares on mediocre planes.

This is really not an issue in my life

How many drinks does it take to get you drunk?
Several. I only did it twice in life and don't remember the exact number. It was a lot.

Favorite Outkast lyric?
"so fresh and so clean, clean"

Hair color you most like someone you're dating to have?
Don't really care as long as it looked good on them.

If you had to be blind or deaf?
I could not imagine either, but force me to pick and I'd probably go with deaf. I couldn't imagine not seeing my children smile.

Do you have any psychiatric problems?
Honey, please.

Siblings that should go to rehab?
Is there a rehab for co-dependents?

Least favorite month?
The one that gets the most snow.

First movie you can remember seeing as a kid?
The Brood. Free gift to anyone who has even heard of it.

Favorite person in the whole world?
Me.

When's the last time you went on a date?
It's been awhile. I haven't considered what D and I did dating for a long time now.

Do you like violent movies or dirty movies?
Neither, but I would opt for violent. Why watch someone doing something dirty when I could be doing it?

Spring, the warmer the better.

My daughter's father, but only if I could still have my daughter.

If you are straight, what person of the same sex would you do it with?
Tie between Queen Latifah and Cree Summer

In New Mexico.

Who is the person you can count on most?
D for anything, my kids for love and laughter.

If you could date any celebrity past or present, time and age are not factors?
Elmo

What books have you pretended you've read?
Why would anyone pretend to read a book?

What's a word you would use to describe your life?
Whatever.

What did you dream last night?
Don't remember

Today my little girl turns 7. Wow! It just doesn't seem like that long ago I was happy and child-free. My Lady Day is truly turning into a little lady. I am so proud of her. She's smart (and it's more than mommy-pride talking there), funny, sure of herself and sure of who you should be too. Every single day she makes me laugh and want to pull my hair out. No one else can do that and maintain priority in my heart. She is definitely proof that God bestows His perfect grace on even the most undeserving of souls.

I don't normally do New Year's resolutions, but I decided to give it a try this year:

1. Read 100 books by the end of the year (I'm underacheiving on that one)
2. Love my family more than ever
3. Love myself more than I ever imagined possible
4. Save more money (like that will ever happen!)
5. Play more
6. Look sexy as hell (better than working out 4 times a week, and easier too)
7. Make my bed at least once a week
8. Finish the jean purses I started to make
9. Make my daughter a Hello Kitty pillow
10. Laugh. A lot.

Since August my life has turned completely upside down. It looks like things are starting to get back to normal (Thank you Jesus, Mohammed and Budda!) and I am hoping to get back into blogging. I actually miss it. The only thing that has stayed the same is I'm still crazy in love with my husband and kiddies. And just when I thought I was done, it looks like God has another plan. We will be increasing our family in mid-July. The shock is wearing off and now I'm excited to be doing this pregnancy thing again. I am lucky because I think that I may have the easiest pregnancies (and deliveries) in the world, so I completely enjoy the experience. The worst part for me is cutting back on the caffiene. I can never completely give up Vanilla Coke and I dare anyone to try and make me, but I do cut back on the coffee and such.
