I am so tired. My due date of the 24th is rapidly approaching, just not fast enough for me. There's so much I need to do, but I just can't find the energy to do anything. You know you're in a sad state when climbing into bed is a chore. I just want this baby out of me!!
I can happily say that even though the cicada's have hit our city, they still haven't made it into our neighborhood. They really freak me out. Actually that shell they leave behind. All I can remember from 17 years ago is trying to walk and avoid those dang shells. It's funny to watch Tiger Woods and the other golfers try to play in the Memorial and see them stuck to their hats and clothes.
Today is my girl's last day of school. I am so proud of her. She has had to switch schools a couple of times (and she's only a 1st grader) and she has really handled it like a champ. I sometimes forget to tell her how proud I am. I think I will let her have Ramon noodles for dinner as a reward. How lucky am I that my daughter would think that's the best thing in the world. Not actually having to cook is cool, but having such a good kid really is the best thing in the world.
